Cronus drained the Ambrosia Spring, and the gods are starving. Only a mortal kitchen can refill it. Ambrosia is an idle clicker set on a marble terrace of Mount Olympus: tap the fountain to brew the food of the gods, hire the twelve builders of Olympus to brew for you, and follow the story down into the Underworld — where Hades sets a price for Persephone's freedom that only a full feast can pay.
How to play
- Tap the fountain. Every tap brews ambrosia. Tap fast and the Overflow meter fills — past the mark, each tap is worth up to three times as much.
- Hire builders. Twelve producers brew while you are away, from the Hearth Ember to the Hourglass of Chronos. Each one costs more than the last, so buy early and often.
- Buy upgrades. Upgrades double a single builder, sharpen your hands, or add free taps every second. At 5, 20, 45 and 90 of a builder owned, its doubler appears.
- Catch Golden Ambrosia. A golden orb drifts by every minute or two and lasts thirteen seconds. Frenzy, Clickstorm, Chorus of Olympus and the Lucky Ladle are all worth stopping for.
- Finish the chapter. Reach the chapter's ambrosia goal to move the story, earn stars and Divine Sparks, and unlock the next builder. Thirty chapters, four acts, and an Eternal Feast at the end.

The story is told in four acts — The Mortal Hearth, The Sea and the Grove, The Forge Beneath and The Price of Hades — each with its own curse to ride out: the Nymphs take a tithe from your coin, the forge heat slows the harvest while it strengthens your hands, and Hades taxes every purchase in the dark. The whole campaign is about an hour of focused play, and an endless Eternal Feast keeps asking for more once Persephone walks in the sun.

You brew ambrosia tap by tap, hire the twelve builders of the gods, descend into the Underworld and free Persephone across thirty story chapters.
How do I play Ambrosia?
Tap the marble fountain to brew ambrosia. Spend it in the Builders tab on producers that brew for you every second, then buy Upgrades that double a producer, strengthen your hands or add free taps. Fill the chapter's ambrosia goal to finish the story beat and unlock the next builder.
What is the Overflow meter?
Fast tapping builds Overflow momentum. Once the meter passes its mark every tap is worth more, up to three times as much at full momentum. Stop tapping and the momentum drains away, so bursts of speed are worth more than slow, even tapping.
What does Golden Ambrosia do?
A golden orb drifts across the stage every minute or two and lasts thirteen seconds. Catch it for one of five blessings: Frenzy makes producers seven times faster for fourteen seconds, Clickstorm makes each tap worth 777 times as much, Chorus of Olympus multiplies production by 25, the Lucky Ladle pays a slice of your bank, and the Grey Hour briefly slows everything down.
How do stars and Divine Sparks work?
Every chapter is rated out of three stars by how quickly you reach its goal: beat the par time for three stars, or stay within three and a half times par for two. Stars pay Divine Sparks, and every spark raises all production by two percent for the rest of the run. After chapter thirty you may ascend to trade the feast for a permanent head start.
