About Klondike Solitaire Treasures: The Sunken Vault

Klondike Solitaire Treasures: The Sunken Vault is a free online version of classic Klondike solitaire wrapped in an Atlantis story. The tide-witch Nerissa has sunk the city and sealed Princess Thalassa inside the Sunken Vault; every foundation you complete restores one of the four Treasures of the Deep and breaks one of her seals. All 30 story deals are generated from verified seeds, so every level is winnable — no dead shuffles, no gotchas.

How to Play

  1. Foundations first. Move Aces to the four foundation slots, one per suit, then build each suit upward from Ace to King. Every foundation corresponds to one Treasure of the Deep.
  2. Build the tableau downward. Place cards on columns in alternating colours — a red 6 goes on a black 7. Any face-up run can be moved together as a unit.
  3. Kings fill empty columns. Only a King (with any run beneath it) may start an empty column.
  4. Work the stock. Tap the stock to reveal new cards. In Acts I–II you draw one at a time; from Act III the witch's curse turns it to three at a time, and only the topmost card is playable.
  5. Use your tools. Tap a card to auto-move it to the best spot, or drag it yourself. Undo, three hints per deal and a one-tap auto-finish are always on hand.

The Story

The sea remembers a kingdom. When Nerissa dragged Atlantis into the abyss, she locked Princess Thalassa inside the Sunken Vault and scattered the four Treasures of the Deep — the Pearl of Tides, the Trident Shard, the Heart of Atlantis and the Crown of Thalassa. You are the last Tideweaver. Deal by deal, seal by seal, you rebuild the four foundations: through the Tide Gardens, the Coral Cathedral, the Kraken Trench, and finally the Sunken Throne itself, where the witch waits in person.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Klondike Solitaire Treasures: The Sunken Vault?
Klondike Solitaire Treasures: The Sunken Vault is a free online version of classic Klondike solitaire wrapped in an Atlantis story. The tide-witch Nerissa has sunk the city and sealed Princess Thalassa inside the Sunken Vault; every foundation you complete restores one of the four Treasures of the Deep and breaks one of her seals.
How do I play Klondike Solitaire?
Move all 52 cards onto the four foundations, one per suit, building each from Ace up to King. In the tableau you build downward in alternating colours, and any face-up run can be moved together. Only a King may start an empty column. Turn the stock to reveal new cards and tap any card to send it to the best spot automatically.
What is the difference between draw-1 and draw-3?
In draw-1 mode the stock reveals one card at a time, which is gentler and recommended for new players. In draw-3 mode the stock reveals three cards at a time and only the topmost is playable, which is closer to the classic Vegas feel and noticeably harder. Acts I and II are draw-1; from Act III the witch's curse turns the game to draw-3.
What are the four Treasures of the Deep?
The four Treasures are the Pearl of Tides, the Trident Shard, the Heart of Atlantis and the Crown of Thalassa. Each of the four foundations on the table corresponds to one treasure: complete a foundation from Ace to King and its treasure is restored, breaking one of the four seals on the Sunken Vault.
Is Klondike Solitaire Treasures free and can I play it on my phone?
Yes. The game is completely free, needs no download or sign-up, and runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet and mobile with full touch support, drag-and-drop and tap-to-move controls.

Technical Notes

The game runs entirely in your browser: no plugins, no accounts, no downloads. Cards are rendered with CSS 3D transforms for smooth flips and drift animations, sounds are synthesized live with the Web Audio API, and progress is saved locally on your device. Every story deal comes from a seed that a built-in solver has verified as winnable, so a wrong shuffle never costs you a level — only patience will.
